Washington State University Everett seeks a full-time Building Support Assistant to perform a variety of reception, light security and building support duties.
Position is responsible for greeting visitors, reporting security issues, performing clerical projects and assignments, and performing other duties as assigned. This position serves as the first point of contact for staff, faculty, prospective employees, guests, students, and other visitors.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, faculty, prospective employees, students, parents, and the general public.
- Monitor campus entrances and exits. Report suspicious or illegal entry, disturbances and any other incidents to Security and/or law enforcement.
- Assist visitors by responding to questions, providing directions to the campus, referring visitors to the appropriate resources.
- Explain general WSU Everett room rental procedures, including use fees, permission requests, etc.
Assist with events. - Assist with room rental setups.
- Assist faculty, students, staff, and customers in the operation of media equipment.
- Provide minor building support under the guidance of the Maintenance Mechanic 3.
