Inside Sales Consultant

Sound Publishing is seeking to round out our great sales team with a persuasive and goal-oriented Inside Sales Consultant. We are looking for an individual who will work as a team player and proactively generate advertising sales.
The ideal candidate will work with prospective clients to create print and digital solutions that match their needs. Must be energetic, well-spoken and eager to close sales and increase revenue. Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred.
Inside Sales Duties and Responsibilities
- Cold calling: making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
- Researching and qualifying potential leads
- Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
- Working with sales team on special projects
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- Closing sales
- Computer-proficiency in database and spreadsheet software programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced deadline environment
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
