Job Summary:  Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance and Safety, is responsible for providing construction level services related to the upkeep of buildings and grounds, specializing in services related to carpentry.  This position demonstrates competence and knowledge in all aspects of the building construction process including but not limited to the following performance responsibilities, qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Salary Range: $34.74 - $39.11/hour per 2022-23 Public School Employees Salary Schedule
Work Year: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 12 months/year
Qualifications: Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position. 
Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Five years’ experience in carpentry trades work.
  3. Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
  4. Must meet driver’s abstract qualifications necessary to drive a district vehicle.        
  5. Blood Borne Pathogen Training provided at time of hire.
  6. First Aid/CPR with AED certificates.
