Basic Responsibilities:
Oversees the District’s educational programs for public, private and home school students. Plans, develops, implements, promotes, teaches, supervises and evaluates the education programs offered by the District. Supervises classroom teachers for the hands-on lessons.
Develops and builds relationships between the District and the educational community through regular communications, personal visits, and participation in activities with the education community. Serves as a liaison with community and professional groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education; and
- Five (5) years recent experience as a classroom teacher.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience.
- Master’s Degree.
License or Certification:
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License; and
- Washington State Teacher’s Certificate.
