BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Join an evolving SAP Center of Excellence (COE) as an Applications Analyst. Seeking an experienced Applications Analyst responsible for configuration, development, and support of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with a preferred focus on Asset Management. The successful candidate must have the ability to partner across a diverse team of architects, application developers/configurators, and functional analysts. The successful candidate will contribute to an organization-wide business transformation project and be part of the team involved in the design and implementation of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applications Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field; AND
- Two (2) years progressively more responsible programming and application systems experience.
OR
- The equivalent combination of directly related experience and education.
Sr. Applications Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field; AND
- Five (5) years progressively more responsible programming and application systems experience.
OR
- The equivalent combination of directly related experience and education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years SAP implementation and/or other ERP configuration experience
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and SAP Work Manager
- Strong functional and technical understanding and troubleshooting skills including interfaces between SAP (or other ERP software) and external applications
- Ability to perform application design and ERP configuration based on business requirements analysis
- Project implementation methodologies or software project lifecycle experience including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support phases
- Experience with risk and impact analysis
- Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft technologies
- Strong query scripting experience or table read, write, join, and SAP infoset build
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or assignments including the ability to organize, plan, and lead tasks or initiatives of varying size to a successful completion
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment along with the commitment to the overall team success
- Ability to work successfully with 3rd party vendors in incident resolution and to support application enhancements as required to meet business requirements and priorities
- Strong written/verbal communications skills
