Roles and Responsibilities:
Qualifications• Develop, manage, maintain, and communicate key sourcing related metrics for supply chain operations organization. Leverage analytical skills to provide consolidated management-level summaries and drive performance.• Manage supplier scorecard program. Activities include gathering supplier performance data, organizing cross functional review panels to collect feedback, performing necessary data cleansing, supplier presentation of data, addressing supplier feedback as well as providing input to improving the program.• Develop, manage and standardize content for supplier business review (SBR) communication packages. Work directly with specific internal stakeholders toward visualizing key pieces of performance data to improve delivery and understanding as well as leverage of standard data sources in SAP and Tableau applications. Work with stake holders on SBR scheduling.• Generate supply chain data visualizations and contribute to effective presentations of data and present on opportunities for improvement found in analytic investigations.• May manage processes and oversight activities related to maintenance of Intuitive’s approved supplier list.• May manage and contribute to specific activities or processes related to supplier benchmarking (i.e. quoting, market research, and coordinating with consultants).• May be responsible for inventory management analysis, including process improvement, inventory risk management, what-if scenario planning, financial forecasting, and optimizations.• Identify process automation opportunities relative to supply chain related needs; work with internal IT staff to develop specifications and test scripts.• Document standard operating procedures, create new business presentation templates, and create training documents as required.• Facilitate communication of supply chain and commodity-specific strategies to internal customers and stakeholders; may include development and maintenance of internal intranet content.• Provide support as required for internal and external audits as well as driving closure of applicable audit findings.• Support management and upkeep of supplier-facing communications as directed. Includes Intuitive supplier handbook, training documents, and other supply chain communications.• Manage special purchasing and business related projects as requested by management.• Generate and implement continuous improvements ideas based on strategic analysis of existing processes and collaborating with key internal partners.• Identifying business problems to be solved using analytical tools and data applications.
Skill/Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years’ experience in a relevant supply chain, finance or operations role. Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment, business applications or data science is preferred. Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.• Experience with extracting data from SAP and/or SAS applications as well as developing visualization tools for summarizing extracted data.• Prior use of supply chain and market segment analytical reports to augment justifications and local analysis is a plus (e.x. Gartner, Beroe, IBIS World).• Excellent capabilities in building management level presentations as well as creating narrative explanations using quantitative information.• Candidate to share a portfolio of work that demonstrates experience in data presentations and research.• Licenses/certifications (all considered to be a plus for role):• Professional certificates in data science or analytics;• Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing; and• CPSM, CPIM, and/or PMP.• Significant computer experience including MS Office products and ERP systems, preferably SAP and Agile.• Ability to perform independent research of commodity markets and create summary presentations.• Ability to manage multiple objectives and priorities concurrently.• Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills.• Demonstrated concern for precision and thoroughness.• Proactive thinking and problem solving skills.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.• Knowledge of control and requirements for business within a regulated industry (i.e. FDA CFR) is a plus.
