Mechanical Engineer
Perform engineering duties in planning, documenting, developing, analyzing and optimizing methods and processes required to stamp, fabricate, weld, wash/paint and assemble parts to meet customer and manufacturer quality requirements, launch products and product changes, improve quality, cost, FSA, production, and efficiencies, and ensure effective corrective actions." multiple openings"
Specific duties include:
- Analyzing drawings, specifications, proposals, blueprints, and other customer-provided documentation to determine manufacturing feasibility;
- Establishing cost per part, production and assembly methods, materials, tools, and equipment required to service the customer and provide the company with fair profit;
- Assessing the quality expectation of customers and incorporate quality requirements in the cost per part;
- Proposing changes to facilitate the ease of manufacturing and/or reduce costs.
- This position may involve periodic transfer between our facilities in Decatur, Texas, Dublin, Virginia, and Chehalis, Washington.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Master’s Degree or equivalents in a related Engineering field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Engineering Technology – Mechanical Systems.
