Construction Crew Leader

Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County

Serve, learn, lead and explore in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County is looking forward to hosting AmeriCorps members for the first time. Our AmeriCorps members will play an integral role in providing leadership on our project sites, engaging volunteers to become champions for our mission, and creating new tools and systems to build capacity. Our members are the ambassadors of Habitat Snohomish, interacting with our current volunteers, partner families and community stakeholders as well as establishing new relationships on behalf of our organization. During a year of service with Habitat Snohomish, AmeriCorps members gain insight to the inner workings of a non-profit organization and gain hands-on experience in leadership, public speaking and community development.

Benefits beyond the AmeriCorps living allowance and education award include a housing/grocery/transportation stipend of at least $150/month, carpool and service transportation options as well as mileage reimbursement for approved when in line with our policy and, for construction leads, hand tool and gear reimbursement. In your off hours, hike the wilderness of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker and the Cascades, explore the rainforests and beaches of Olympic National Park, spend time on the Washington State Ferries in Puget Sound and enjoy the exciting city of Seattle, which includes a thriving art and music scene. Enjoy the Seattle sports experience with the well-renowned Seattle sports fans such as the 12th Man or enjoy the thriving food and craft-beverage industry in the Pacific Northwest. Join our Habitat family and form lasting relationships, while creating affordable housing solutions with hard-working families in Snohomish County. For more information about Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County, please visit our website.
