Come join our team and be part of the fastest growing building trend in the Country.POSITION SUMMARY The Prefab Factory Superintendent manages the construction teams to ensure the timely delivery of custom homes projects. The superintendent is responsible for the day to day operations of the construction project, providing overall leadership to the team and subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on schedule, in a safe manner, within the budget, and to quality standards.The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years direct experience in residential and/or multi-family construction, expert knowledge in the means and methods of construction, a proven track record of success in all phases with excellent planning and project management skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Safety is a top priority. Manage the overall safety of the factory floor and set the tone for achieving positive safety results. Plan the logistics for all personnel and material movement in the custom home production area. Coordinate and manage materials, subcontractors and the PE/ME, including timely delivery, receiving, quality control, staging, storage, deployment and tracking. Ensure each project is built per plans, specs, building code and delivered to the client with the highest level of quality. Create and update short interval look-ahead schedules. Effectively manage project schedule dates to meet scheduled milestones and completion date. Facilitate communication and management of the production floor ensuring all involved parties know their responsibilities and are informed of project status and expectations. Establish and maintain regularly scheduled daily and weekly project team and subcontractor coordination meetings as appropriate. Lead and motivate team members and subcontractors to complete all phases of work on time and on budget. Build and maintain relationships with inspectors, subcontractors, internal stakeholders and clients. Track subcontractor activity, safety, deliveries and other important project information in daily log reports via the project management system.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) High school education or equivalent. Two or Four-year degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred. At least 3 years direct experience in construction supervision and at least 10 years overall experience in building and construction. A thorough working knowledge of wood and residential multi-family construction as related to all disciplines and phases of construction. Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Computer knowledge and efficiency including MS Office and project management software. Effective in collaborative relationships and effective as part of a team. A history of a strong work ethic and effective leadership skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
