Police Officer Part-Time

Cumberland Township

Cumberland Township is accepting applications for part-time Police Officer. Applicants must be at least 21years of age, possess a High School Diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED). Have all Act 120 certifications at time of application, a U.S. citizen, valid Pa driver's license, physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of police officer. Part-time officers have the ability to select shifts and days worked (by seniority) each month. Uniforms are provided and a yearly uniform and equipment allowance (after meeting the required amount of hours worked in the previous calendar year). 

Paid vacation and sick days (after meeting the required amount of hours worked in the previous calendar year).  New ballistic vest, replaced periodically by the Township under the manufacturer's guidelines. 1 year probationary period.

Starting salary: $14.88 after probationary period is up, it will increase to $18.00.
