We are a Land Use Consulting firm looking for a good Civil EIT to build on our small but efficient team. While we do a diverse range of Land Use Planning and Civil Engineering Projects, the majority of our work is in designing livable communities where families can call “Home”. You will be able to take great pride in the design and development of these unique and desirable places to live. You will be working in an environment conducive to your personal growth where your efforts and innovative work will be recognized and appreciated.
Candidate needs a degree in Civil Engineering and at least some experience with ACAD Civil 3D and familiar with the use of Stormwater Management Software, preferably DOE Western Washington Hydrologic Modeling software. However, specific training can be provided for individuals strong in other attributes. Our company has been a leader in the area of using innovative solutions and Low Impact Development techniques for Stormwater Management so looking for an EIT with like interest
We are looking for an EIT that is very creative and can provide innovative solutions to both traditional and unique Land Use Projects. Our company is not in a race to grow in number of employees but has a penchant for becoming more productive by being technologically efficient. You will be a key component of the project design process. This is not a job for the standard “chain-gang” type engineering office mentality. The Applicant needs to have excellent self-motivated work habits and is proud of their work.
Our office is near Smokey Point/Northerly Snohomish County situated in a rural setting. The location provides an “out of the asphalt jungle” work environment. If you are suffering with long congested commutes to the south, gain some of your life back out of the car and with your family. Our location and the reverse uncongested commute put us at about 20 minutes from most places in Snohomish County and parts of Skagit County.
We are a small firm with advanced technical capacity and has more than 30 years of experience in planning and engineering Land Use Projects in both local and State jurisdictions. Many of our projects have been recognized and used by both local and State Agencies as examples of great design. We have survived several “bubble and busts” in the economy and are able to provide rewarding and stable long-term security to our people. There is the promise of a good long-term and rewarding future with our company.
You will have strong support in working toward your Professional License and will receive an attractive compensation package; above market wages that are typically augmented with an annual rewards bonus based on performance. Paid vacations, holiday pay, participatory health package, and 401K retirement programs are also provided. We can provide flexible work hours to work around family events but also allow extensive overtime to those that need to increase income.
