Peer Support for Mobile Intervention for Young Adults
Auberle award winning human service organization that serves thousands of children & families helping build strong individuals, families & communities. Seeking dynamic & compassionate individual in our Mobile Intervention for Young Adults (MIYA) Program. Delivers comprehensive, mobile services & supports to youth during transition out of social service system into community. Works with youth’s family and/or natural supports to assist mtg. goals for recovery. Program serves Allegheny County HealthChoices/Medical Assistance eligible youth ages 18 to 25 yrs., with a serious emotional/behavioral disorder or serious mental illness (SE/BD). Support youth to live independently in community to maximize recovery. Must be aged 18-25. Youth who have received certification & worked as Youth Support Partners in High Fidelity Wraparound Services meet qualifications for position. Life exp. with services provides expertise that professional training cannot replicate. Position provides WRAP & Mental Health Advance Directive planning, mobility training assistance with life skills.
