Payroll Accountant
The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (AWWD) is accepting applications to fill a Payroll Accountant vacancy within the Finance Department. The successful candidate will perform a wide array of accounting activities requiring an understanding of accounting operations and procedures. This individual will also perform various payroll related functions including processing payroll, posting payroll entries, processing and reconciling benefit payments and reports, manage time and attendance in ADP, as well as other accounting functions as they relate to the daily operations of the Finance Department.
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job is required for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be five years of accounting experience including at least two years experience processing payroll and an Associate’s degree in accounting or related field.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.54 - $36.91 per hour, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
