The Opportunity: Maintenance Electrician
The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (AWWD) is looking for an electrical professional with strong technical skills to fill a Maintenance Electrician opening in the Maintenance & Operations Department. This person may perform a variety of functions including preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on District lift stations, pump stations, the wastewater treatment facility, and office buildings.
This position requires any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the job. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be at least two to five years of related experience and up to two years of training or education. A General Electrician (01) License and a valid WA state driver's license with an acceptable driving record are required.
This position is represented by WCCCE, Local No. 1811A, AFSCME, AFL-CIO. The pay range for this position is $31.52 - $42.24 per hour ($65,556 - $87,852 annually), dependent upon experience and qualifications.
