Energy Efficiency Engineer
Multiple Levels – Title and Salary Depending on Qualifications

Provides moderate to complex technical analyses and support to commercial, industrial and residential customers with a focus on pumps, motors, and HVAC, including implementation of energy efficiency and renewable resource measures which can have complex features requiring an overall knowledge of commercial, industrial and residential engineering principles and methods. Assists in or leads multiple projects involving all end-use measures for a wide variety of customer facilities. Other duties include financial calculations of energy efficiency incentives, adjustments to existing measures to increase the portfolio’s ability to reduce the District’s peak energy demands, and calculation of incentives for demand response events.
Associate Energy Efficiency Engineer – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field OR equivalent work experience.
Assistant Energy Management Engineer – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field OR equivalent work experience; and Three (3) years related engineering experience.
Energy Management Engineer - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field OR equivalent work experience; and Six (6) years related engineering experienceOR Four (4) years related energy management experience and a CEM.
Senior Energy Management Engineer – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field OR equivalent work experience; Six (6) years related engineering experience including Two (2) years in a lead capacity; and CEM or current WA State P.E. License.
