AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Under the direction of the City Administrator, the Economic Development and Communications Manager (EDCM) performs a variety of complex, professional-level tasks in support of economic development, communications and related programs.
The EDCM is responsible for the development, recommendation and implementation of policies, programs and procedures that ensure the economic health and vitality of the City; and is an advocate for existing and potential businesses with City staff and elected officials.
The ideal candidate will have any combination of work experience and education that provides an understanding of economic development, small business administration and funding strategies, especially in the public sector; commercial property development; real estate and market analysis; and tourism development. Knowledge of website and social media management required. Preferred educational experience includes a BA in economics, marketing, business or public administration, or urban and regional planning. Preferred professional experience includes a minimum of three (3) years in commercial/industrial real estate or brokerage; economic development; urban and regional planning; policy development, or related field.
The annual salary range is $93,204 to $103,272 annually, plus excellent benefits.
