Provides administrative support to assigned HR programs. Coordinates drug and alcohol testing program and agency’s insurance bill reconciliations and benefit processing. Supports staffing activities, schedules meetings, reviews incoming documents, compiles information and generates reports. Deals with internal and external customers at all levels in occasionally difficult or sensitive situations.
Three years of progressively responsible general administrative experience. (May substitute an Associate’s degree in office occupations or business or closely related field for 1.5 years of this experience). A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or directly related field may substitute for 3 years of experience.
Two years of experience performing highly detailed work involving sensitive or confidential information. Examples of sensitive or confidential information are employee personnel and wage information, medical and insurance information, recruitment information, or drug and alcohol testing results.
Typing 50 wpm.
