Translates the agency’s strategic mission and goals into agency-wide HR strategy to support the overall business plan and create a positive employee experience. Works with the Labor Manager to determine labor strategies and their effects on all employees both union and nonunion. Works with legal advisors on regulatory responses, advises internal customers, and manages programs and projects, and compliance with policy, procedures, regulations, laws and EEO/affirmative action affected areas.
Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration or public administration or another related field
10 years in HR
5 years management level HR experience accountable for labor relations, employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits
3 years in public sector HR
5 years of experience in supervision. In a medium size (500+ employees) organization
HRIS experience including performance management and recruitment
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above may be considered.
